today's story is the very best bed the very best bed by Rebecca Ray show me a gray squirrel was so busy finding nuts and seeds to store away for the winter that he hadn't noticed he was getting cold and dark he needed to find the Cozy night it was a nice nearby under a fallen tree but it was already very very full with a big bear couldn't find a nest up in the Old Pine Tree but then I heard the sound of a barred owl hooting it sounds like who cooks for you who cooks for you all we all was just waking up soon she would start hunting in the Moonlight the squirrel jumped up onto a great pile of rocks there was a safe little cave but when you peek inside he saw a red fox snuggled up with a bushy tail what if the fox woke up hungry too maple tree lined up up up up family bats was hanging upside down from the branches the squirrel ouch with the big jump the squirrel landed to a nearby tree down below he saw a trailer apples in there and be warm this metal between them what they woke up and started to move away only sleep for a few hours at a time cottontail rabbit hopping towards a group of young spruce trees it was heading for small house line with leaves what is perfect place to sleep too bad it was only for one rabbit down by the water's edge the scroll saw ducks and geese sleeping on raft of reeds and Cattails the gentle wave Rock the back and forth for the squirrel didn't want to get his feet wet a ripple of water caught his eye he wants to seals bobbing up right and a harbor porpoise gently rolling on the surface of the water it look like they didn't mind sleeping in the water at all the engine that not for a squirrel at the pond way back to the woods the squirrel song in the middle of the pond but the squirrel certainly did not want to give his fluffy tail with a wet tail was almost as bad as wet feet the sky was getting darker but the squirrel noticed a tiny hole at the base of an oak tree he peeked inside and saw a chipmunk sleeping on a bed of leaves and grass especially with a snack so handy nearby but there wasn't quite enough room for the squirrel to squirrel began to climb higher up in the oak tree or a resting on a branch next but when you look inside of raccoon baby it doesn't look like they've been going to sleep anytime soon the squirrel kept climbing Higher and Higher and Higher and Higher and Higher and their sheltered under a branch was in a woodpecker nest quick as a flash squirrel scampered down the tree and gather some grass moss and leaves then he made the very best best there ever was he curled up under his big fluffy tail and slept and slept all night long do you think the squirrel and the very best out of all
