RES 1st grade students describe their experience with Kindergarten Screening.

during kindergarten screening time when we already arranged we just said the best people to tell you what it is really like are the people who have actually been through it Stillwell Drive into the parking lot hold your dolls hair when you walk there here is the school we thought it was huge when we were your age now it just seems normal there are two doors to go in the first one went to the second one you will have to ring spell so miss Mindy can let you in Miss Randy's is a school secretary you will like her there is a camera there to see who is at that door Miss Wendy won't let anyone in who is not supposed to be here we have a very safe School when is Minnie and locks the door you can walk right into the school first people you will see are the ones who will check the lights to find your name will get a name tag to put around it tells that's been and what you have done in the school. You will say goodbye for a little bit they will have to do is boring adult type stuff like fill out forms with lots of right tell me what popcorn is Hutchinson assistant principal you would like her to say we'll take a tour of the school has lots of walking to the cafeteria and the playground to down upstairs when you coming to the school on Amherst things you will notice is the noise we make lots of noise even when I'm trying to be quiet you might hear the teacher say to her class 38210 that means zero talking in the hallway use 3210 alot and Arias freezing outside boys to visit talking boys that's the hardest one guess what you'll be doing lots of fun stuff that's what you'll get to go into the gym and get your picture taken do you will have to find your name on a little life then you won't jump skip info things you will show how you can repeat words and write your name and cut out a dinosaur one person will even ask you to follow a pencil with your eyes very confused about that but we found out why it's a good reason the people who are doing all these things are the adults in our school who work with all of the students even asked him a little scary but they really aren't play awesome feather favorite part of kindergarten screening spring the new students and guess what your parents are probably scared they want you to have a good time and I wonder what you are doing be sure to tell them everything you did trust us you'll have fun when they finish a nativity look for your name tag says adults know you it can get confusing all the activity you will get two players on Legos The Cars Roblox and you will get a yummy snack pretty soon. Else will come back and you will go home the adults who with you will get this words together and decide what you need to learn this is called statistics this is Heelys explained it to us we didn't really get it but she is happy retried some of us want to take statistics in college wait for you to begin to have the fun that we do as we learn together and we can't wait to meet you too
